Evita

The world-famous musical Evita is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and it’s being celebrated in a big way! Experience this magnificent masterpiece in this musical performance just as it was intended: as a musical concert, sung in English by top soloistsVajèn van den Bosch and Milan van Waardenburg. They will be accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra and a large choir on stage. The remaining roles will be announced at a later date.

In November 1976, the legendary duo Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber released the concept album Evita, which, of course, featured the song that became an instant global hit: “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.” In the Netherlands, too, the hit spent no fewer than ten weeks at number one on the Top 40 chart. Thus, the musical about the life of the famous Argentine actress and first lady Eva Perón became one of the most beloved musicals of all time.
