Artists & Roommates
Luxor provides a workspace for entrepreneurial, creative, and social initiatives and startups. Within our professional and versatile environment, they come together to form a collaborative hub where they can continue to develop and professionalize. Through this so-called Luxor Art Hub, Luxor connects with the city’s artists. We do this with our current residents and with new artists.
Luxor Partners
Our partners are cultural organizations, each with its own specific offerings and network.
ARK/Connor Schumacher
ARK/Connor Schumacher strives to make the physical culture of dance accessible to anyone who wants to move. In doing so, it shifts the notion that dance is merely a performing art form to the realization that dance is an applied art that gives our bodies the means to shape our humanity.

Make an IMPACT
Make IMPACT is a foundation for artists with a story, artistic talent, and ambition. They offer coaching, residencies, events, and a community. Together with this community, they produce theater productions, performances, and audiovisual art.

Marc Vlemmix Dance
Marc Vlemmix Dance is a Rotterdam-based dance company whose work is inspired by the ever-changing body as a result of Parkinson’s disease, rheumatism, multiple sclerosis, and aging.

"We are connected to women throughout Rotterdam and perform on various stages, but it is at the Luxor that the magic of our creative process takes shape. The Luxor is a warm and safe place where women come together to create art, and where the personal and shared stories from our community take shape and come to life in performances, exhibitions, and art installations."
Women Connected
Spraakuhloos
Spraakuhloos is committed to bringing spoken word to a wide audience. Spoken word has the power to inspire, inform, and connect people from all walks of life. Spraakuhloos strives to make this art form accessible to everyone.

Women Connected
Women Connected is the largest performing arts network for women in Rotterdam. The women of Women Connected come from all over the world, but are connected with one another in Rotterdam. Here, they share stories and perform on stage to inspire and motivate other women. The performances are about life, love, fears, and desires. Unique and universal.

Xclusiv
For two decades, Xclusiv Company (XCCC) has been bridging the gap between the street and the theater, blending powerful urban dance with modern dance, electronic music, spoken word, and visual art. Through performances exploring identity and community, XCCC celebrates the richness of diversity, authenticity, humanity, and progress.

New Artists
As a major cultural institution, we place a high priority on talent development—not only for the talent itself, but also to foster innovation in Rotterdam’s cultural offerings. By bringing artists together and supporting them, the theater scene continues to evolve and adapt to the (future) audience.
For several years now, we have been regularly mentoring new artists. We do this by providing a rehearsal space and our stage. In addition, we mentor them in entrepreneurship, marketing, technical and business aspects, and organizing theater tours. Previous artists from our talent development program include Derek Otte, Aisa Winter, and Mozé Nael.
"As a new artist, Luxor gave me the opportunity to develop my first production under the guidance of a renowned theater. With dedicated and passionate people who supported me throughout the creative process, administrative support, a place to rehearse, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm and trust—from the initial idea all the way to the premiere."
