Mission
Luxor is an organization committed to forging an inseparable bond with Rotterdam’s community. Through its theaters, Luxor aims to make high-quality (inter)national entertainment accessible to all Rotterdammers and, through its public program, to make a sustained investment in the development, connection, and well-being of all the city’s residents.
Vision
By the end of 2028, we will have clearly evolved from a theater focused primarily on performances to one that also plays a social role. In addition to our large-scale theater programming, we have created a space where we support artists in the business and production aspects of their careers, with room for co-creation and innovation. And a central hub in the Zuid neighborhood where residents, visitors, and creators come together throughout the day. An accessible, welcoming place where everyone can enjoy an experience, and where all Rotterdammers feel at home.
