Looking Up: Yoga & Walk
A yoga, walking, and photography experience inspired by States of Seeing
- workshops
What happens when you slow down for a moment and look at your surroundings with a fresh perspective?
During Looking Up, we combine yoga, a group walk, and a playful photography exercise. It’s an experience where you move, go outside, and learn to see the world around you in a new way.
We’ll meet at Café Dox and start with a gentle yoga session in the Maasfoyer at Luxor. Through calm movements and focusing on your breath, you’ll step out of your head and bring your attention to the here and now.
Afterward, we’ll set out together. The theme of the walk is “Looking Up”:
we’ll focus our gaze on the light between buildings, the sky, architecture, colors, shadows, and unexpected details.
Along the way, you’ll receive gentle prompts to look at things differently and capture whatever catches your eye. You can do this with your phone or camera. You don’t need any photography experience; it’s not about technical skills or perfect photos, but about discovering what you see and what moves you.
You don’t have to go anywhere. You don’t have to prove anything. Just move, look, and be curious.
Looking Up is a moment to step out of your daily routine, get your body moving, and discover beauty in places you might walk past every day.
