Dear Travelers…
Welcome to Dox. This cozy little tavern is usually a quiet place—a safe haven where travelers from all cultures come together to enjoy a drink, sample some food, or listen to a bard. But tonight is a different story. In the flickering candlelight, you’ll find a few members of the “Quest-Givers Guild” seated at long tables. Adventurers from all over are gathering here in search of jobs, quests, and excitement. Why? Some do it for the riches, others for the fame, and sometimes even for a mysterious reason of their own. So what brings you here? Whatever your motivations may be, it’s now your turn to take a seat at one of the tables, join a party, and roll!
Practical Information
On this evening, various Dungeon Masters will be running so-called “One Shots.” These One Shots will be organized into different levels: complete beginners, D&D experts, and D&D veterans. This way, you’ll never feel out of place!
You’re welcome to arrive starting at 6:00 p.m.; the adventures begin at 7:00 p.m. So make sure you’re on time so you don’t miss a thing! The evening will end around midnight (or when the quest is finished earlier). A ticket costs €5.50 and guarantees you a spot at a table. Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, but our bar staff will be on hand all evening to serve delicious drinks and snacks.
This event is truly for everyone, from D&D veterans to complete beginners. There will also be separate English-language and Dutch-language sessions; please indicate your preference when purchasing your ticket. Do you prefer to play with your regular group of D&D friends? Then buy a Dragontafel ticket—we’ll make sure you get a special table at Café Dox so you can get started right away.
Players are welcome to bring their own characters to the event, but there will also be “pre-made character sheets” available for those who need them.
