All shows cancelled up to June 1st
These are uncertain times. Social life for many of us will mostly be indoors. Because of the measures the government announced to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, Luxor Theater also had to close its doors. Shows will not be played and employees work from home. Though they are hard for us, we understand the measures completely: health is now the most important thing.
We hope you are doing well.
About your tickets
You bought tickets for a show that was due between March 12th and April 7th in Luxor Theater. We have already e-mailed you that we had to cancel these shows unfortunately.
At this moment we are contacting all theatre producers to find new dates for all the cancelled shows. Besides that, all theatres, producers, funds and government are trying to find solutions how we can all cope with this crisis.
Luxor is joining all Dutch theatres in their policy:
- We try to postpone all shows and find new dates to play them. At this moment however dates are not set.
- Unfortunately we can’t take back tickets or swap them for Luxor vouchers.
- When new dates are set (or when no dates can be found), we will e-mail all buyers with more information about the new dates of compensation

Please let me explain the consequences of this crisis for Luxor Theater and a show like Hello, Dolly! (sorry, only in Dutch.)
Luxor Theater at home
We hope to welcome you right after this crisis for live theater in the old or the new Luxor Theater. Till then you can enjoy online theatre, because all performers are creative as usual but at home. If you'd like to
work on your Dutch, please take a look:
