Het Rotterdamse club- en performanceconcept PAARDENRAVE komt naar Luxor! Na 25 jaar Nieuwe Luxor zijn ook de stoelen in de zaal sterk aan vervanging toe. Voordat de nieuwe stoelen erin gaan maakt Luxor voor één nacht ruimte voor een tijdelijke paardenstal met wortels en suikerklontjes. Maar dat is natuurlijk niet alles, bij PAARDENRAVE zie je spectaculaire performances, theatrale kostuums, circusacts, dansers en de beste DJ’s. Denk aan My Little Pony meets Berghain. Haal je paard uit de stal, stijg in het zadel en maak je klaar voor de rodeo.

The Rotterdam-based club and performance concept PAARDENRAVE is coming to Luxor! After 25 years, the seats in the Nieuwe Luxor theatre are also in serious need of replacement. Before the new seats are installed, Luxor will make room for one night for a temporary horse stable, complete with carrots and sugar cubes. But of course, that’s not all. At PAARDENRAVE you’ll experience spectacular performances, theatrical costumes, circus acts, dancers, and the best DJs. Think My Little Pony meets Berghain. Get your horses out of the stable, saddle up and get ready to ride!

Luxor viert feest! Dit jaar viert het Nieuwe Luxor haar 25-jarige bestaan. Sinds de opening in 2001 groeide het theater uit tot een iconische plek op de Kop van Zuid waar jaarlijks honderdduizenden bezoekers samenkomen voor musicals, concerten, cabaret en internationale producties. Ter gelegenheid van dit jubileum presenteert Luxor drie bijzondere programma’s: een feestelijke ode aan de carrière van Jandino Asporaat die ooit begon bij Cameretten, een fantasierijke backstage experience in samenwerking met Jeugdtheater Hofplein én een nachtfeest door het Rotterdamse club- en performanceconcept PAARDENRAVE.
