Nieuwe Luxor is vanavond het epicentrum van Hiphopdanstheater. Met maar liefst 6 acts variërend van breaking, waacking, tot hiphop en krump, betreden topnotch dansers van over de hele wereld tot lokaal talent het podium. Tot nu toe bevestigd: Traplord (VK), ILL-Abilities (NL/BR), Rubix (FR), Mounia (FR).
En dit is niet alles! Buiten legt Naomi King de laatste hand aan haar nieuwste Streetart, dat zij speciaal maakt voor Breakin Convention. Ambassador Menno van Gorp en Studio Bluebreaks organiseren een breaking battle en na afloop kan er gedanst worden op de Afterparty in Cafe Dox.

And that’s not all! Outside, Naomi King is putting the finishing touches on her latest street art, which she is creating especially for Breakin Convention. Ambassador Menno van Gorp and Studio Bluebreaks are organizing a breaking battle, and afterwards, you can dance at the Afterparty in Cafe Dox.

Breakin’ Convention, Jonzi D’s world famous international festival of hip hop dance theatre, takes over Rotterdam from 12-15 November 2026.
For four days, the city becomes the global meeting point for hip hop culture – from theatre to battles, from DJs to spoken word. Across Nieuwe Luxor, Theater Rotterdam and Theater Zuidplein international icons and local voices come together in one shared space: the stage, the floor, the cypher. Featuring some of the most prestigious crews from around the world to local talents, jam sessions and workshops.
