A moment for moms is an event for all moms. In acknowledging the selfless passage of being a mom, we invite everyone to have a moment to receive. A moment of positive self fullness, a moment to pour the love straight back into oneself. With Pilates, Yoga, Yummy food and a Creative Workshop on Self – love. This day is for you, let us come together to connect, to soften and to receive.

Timetable:

Workshop - I see

This workshop is given by The Selfcaring Mom (Soreti)

During this inspiring workshop, you as a mother take intentional time for yourself. We begin with a short exercise to help you move out of your head and into your body. Afterwards, you reflect through guided journaling questions on what gives you energy, what you need, and which choice you want to make for yourself right now. The central theme is conscious choice. Not living on autopilot, but pausing to consider who you want to be; at home, in your work, and for yourself. At the end of the workshop, you choose one powerful word that represents your intention. You incorporate this word into a personal keychain that you take home as a daily reminder.

Workshop - I see

Yoga

This class will be given by Saskia. She is a Yoga teacher originally from South-Africa. Saskia has been a Yoga teacher for 5 years.
The first part of this Yoga class we will flow intentionally, focusing on the heart space, as well as the hips. We will later move into deeper opening of the body, through longer held poses, this second part of the class will be Yin focused. We will later end the class with a short guided meditation and savasana.

Pilates

Kesia Smit is a cultural anthropologist, DJ, mother of 2 boys and Pilates instructor dedicated to helping women reconnect with their bodies. As the founder of The Room of IMA, she supports mothers in rebuilding strength after pregnancy by focusing on core and pelvic floor recovery.

During the session at A moment for moms, she will guide you through a calm mat class focused on breath, core awareness and moving in a way that feels supportive and accessible.
